Our Waldorf Preschool Program

Children between the ages of 2 years 9 months - 4 years may enter the Preschool Program.  We offer a 2-day, 3-day, or 5-day program, 8:15 AM - 12:45 PM. 

After school care also available.

Our Waldorf Preschool offers a peaceful, uncluttered environment filled with simple natural materials for creative play.  Play is the work of the young child.  Brightly colored play cloths, moveable play stands, dolls, wooden blocks make for many happy hours of engaged and imaginative learning.  Through creative play, social skills are developed, physics explored, and self confidence grows. 

Outdoor nature play is an integral part of the day.  Regular exploratory hikes beyond the play yard are essential for the child.  The daily rhythm of activities includes circle time, artistic explorations, indoor and outdoor creative play, snack time, story time, and lunch.

Led by experienced Waldorf teachers, our Preschool Program offer parents support in child development and education while preparing children for Kindergarten.
